Day 1: The Capital of Norway
Arrival at Gardermoen Airport, where you’ll be met by your private chauffeur, who will transfer you to your luxury accommodation, situated in the heart of Oslo City. After settling into the hotel, you’ll be introduced to the city by our professional guide, who will take you on an excursion to unusual and original places, where you can see, feel and taste what makes Oslo tick. Stay the night in a suite at the luxury Hotel Continental or the Grand Hotel.
Day 2: Norway’s Nutshell Road
After breakfast, your private driver-guide will pick you up at your hotel. The day will start with a visit to the Norwegian Folk Museum, where you’ll learn about the fascinating Viking culture. You’ll leave Oslo around noon and start the drive through the Hallingdal Valley on your way to Geilo, a charming mountain village. On this scenic drive, you’ll pass delightful ski centres and travel through beautiful forested dales and plateaus. End the day by visiting the spa at the Dr. Holmes Hotel, where you’ll enjoy a full massage. Stay the night at the Dr. Holmes Hotel.
Day 3: Hardangerfjord at its Best
From Geilo, you’ll be driven along the border the Hardangervidda National Park to the inner parts of the beautiful Hardangerfjord, with its spectacular views, on the way to Bergen. You’ll pass the first glacier on your tour, Hardanger Jøkulen, and visit the impressive waterfall, Vøringfossen—the highest in Norway, with a cascade of 182 metres. From Vøringfossen, you will continue through the dramatic, narrow Måbødalen Valley, along Eidfjord, and end the day in Bergen. Stay in a suite at a luxury hotel in Bergen.
Day 4: City of Wonders
Today your guide will show you all the best Bergen has to offer. Bergen is a wonderful city, full of life and culture. In this must-visit city, you’ll find Bryggen, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site; exceptional old houses; a vibrant fish and flower market; cable cars offering stunning views; great museums; dynamic culture, and more. Stay in a suite at a luxury hotel in Bergen.
Day 5: Adventures in and around Deep Fjords
The day will start by heading to Norway’s adventure capital, Voss. In Voss, you can try out one of the many thrilling activities that the town and its hinterland have to offer. Another option would be to visit the beautiful Aurlandsfjord to experience the truly enjoyable train ride between Flåm and Myrdal. Your journey will continue as you head on to the bottom of Sognefjord Norway’s longest and deepest fjord—taking in highlights such as the towns of Stalheim and Aurland. Stay the night at historic Walaker Hotel in Solvorn by Lustrafjorden.
Day 6: From Dale to Dale
We start the day early by driving the Fjærlands Road to see the graceful Jostedal Glacier, mainland Europe’s largest icecap. The guide will then take you to the Norwegian Glacier Museum, before the journey continues back to Oslo, driving from dale to dale and passing charming country villages. Stay the night in a suite at the luxury Hotel Continental or the Grand Hotel.
Day 7: Departure
Your chauffeur will pick you up from you hotel and drive you to Gardermoen Airport. If your flight is in the afternoon, you’ll have time for some last-minute shopping or a visit to one of Oslo’s many museums, or just to relax at a café after an enjoyable holiday.
